Darren Booker: May 9, 1999-January 29, 2026

Darren Booker was born on May 9, 1999 in Summerville, South Carolina to Kenneth and Mary Ellen Booker (née Myers). He was found dead at an empty residence on Barber Drive on January 29, 2026. Mr. Booker was preceded in death by his younger brother Landon Booker, and is survived by his parents and older sister Denise Jefferies (née Booker).

Mr. Booker was a very intelligent young man who was known as a risk taker. He loved to tackle new challenges, such as skydiving, bungee jumping, free climbing, spelunking, scuba diving, and whitewater rafting. After graduating from Duke University in 2015 at the age of sixteen, Mr. Booker was recruited to work at Jorus Technology Solutions in Emerson Valley. He abruptly quit his job in October of last year and isolated himself from his friends and family.

Kenneth and Mary Ellen have indicated their intention to hold a funeral for their son as soon as his body is released by the authorities.
