Trivia Night at Garrison’s Bar & Grill

I attended Garrison’s Bar & Grill’s weekly trivia night yesterday. My head is still throbbing as I type this. I’m not even sure how it happened. One minute, I’m sitting in the corner, trying to work up the courage to talk to someone, and the next thing I know, I’m waking up in the middle of the “B” trail in Blackwood Forest with an angry park ranger staring down at me.

I’m positive nobody spiked my drinks. I watched the bartender pour them directly from the keg. I sat with my back against the wall and never put my glass down or took my eyes off it. Unless someone spiked the entire batch of Black Talon Ale, there’s no way my drink was tampered with. I also only had one beer, which makes my blackout episode all the more baffling.

Maybe my alcohol tolerance is shot. I definitely don’t drink the way I did in college, but I’m not a teetotaler either. I make myself a cocktail every now and then. Appletinis are my go-to drink. It just doesn’t seem possible that I’d get so drunk from a single beer that I somehow made my way across town and halfway down a hiking trail in the middle of the night.

If anyone remembers seeing me last night or knows what I did from the hours of 10 PM to 6 AM, please contact me at emersonvalleygazette@gmail.com. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
