Congratulations are in order for our Activities reporter, Martin Fitzgerald. He and his wife Lynn just welcomed their new baby girl on April 4th. I spoke to him yesterday and he told me both his wife and the baby are doing great. They have settled on the name Leah in honor of Lynn’s late grandmother. Marty, Lynn, and little Leah will get to spend the next week at home together since I insisted he take a short break from work in order to tend to his growing family.

Marty is a very lucky guy. The rest of us at the Gazette haven’t been quite so blessed. Leah is going to get spoiled by her honorary aunts and uncles at the paper. Who knows? Maybe someday, she’ll end up working for the Gazette, too! Again, congratulations to Marty and Lynn. We love you guys and wish you nothing but the best.
