After a lengthy interim period assessment, the Jorus Technology Solutions’ Board of Directors has announced the company’s new CEO: Emerson Valley native Arthur Harrison. This announcement finally brings an end to the question of who would replace Emerson Valley mayor Anthony Faulk in the position. Mayor Faulk stepped down from his role as CEO following his election last November. However, he remains Chairman of the Board of Directors.
“We’re thrilled to have Mr. Harrison take the reins of Jorus Tech,” Mayor Faulk said in the announcement. “He’s been an asset to the company for many years now, and he as the Board’s complete faith in his ability to steer us into the future.”
Mr. Harrison was hired by Jorus Tech shortly after their move to Emerson Valley in 2013. He was born and raised here, going straight from Emerson Valley High School to Emerson Valley University.
“No one represents our commitment to this community the way Arthur does,” said Angelica Narducci, Jorus Tech’s Vice-Chairwoman and CFO. “He’s a brilliant administrator, but I doubt he’d have gotten the opportunity to work at a Fortune 500 company if we didn’t develop our “Bright Young Minds” community outreach program. (EDITOR’S NOTE: Jorus Tech is not currently on the Fortune 500 list. The last time it appeared on the list was in 1999.)
“I’m beyond honored to be given this opportunity,” Mr. Harrison said after he was introduced as the company’s new CEO. “I just hope I can do even half as much for Jorus Tech as Mr. Faulk did.”
