I’m currently writing a book that delves into local legends and folklore, especially that surrounding Blackwood Forest. I’ve already found some great stories in the Gazette’s archives, but I want to make sure this book has tales told with a more personal touch. This isn’t going to be a stale encyclopedia—I want it to feel like you’re hearing these legends firsthand from the people who lived them.

If you have any personal experience with our local folklore, I’d love to hear from you! Even if you’re not the one with the stories, you can give me the inside scoop on tales passed down through your family from generation to generation. Maybe you heard something from your friend or neighbor that might be of interest. No matter where you found out about these legends, I want to hear them.
